LONDON – Pope Benedict XVI will deliver a message to Britain on Christmas Eve on BBC radio.
The pope will give the "Thought For the Day" on Radio 4 Friday morning.
The message will come three months after the pope's visit to Britain. It was recorded at the Vatican on Wednesday.
The "Thought For the Day" feature is designed to give speakers from various faiths a chance to offer a personal reflection that usually deals with their religious beliefs. It has been broadcast since 1970.
On Christmas Day, Queen Elizabeth II will make her annual Christmas speech for broadcast throughout the Commonwealth.
