Police say that about five people broke into a freight warehouse for Charles de Gaulle airport outside Paris and stole crates of perfume, packing them into a truck and fleeing.

A Paris region police official said Tuesday that no one was injured in the theft late Monday, which occurred during a delivery. The suspects are still at large.

The official, who was not authorized to be publicly named, did not have an estimate of the value of the perfume.

The airport freight zone is occasionally targeted by thieves seeking duty-free perfume and other valuables.
