Obama arrives in New Delhi

President Barack Obama has arrived in New Delhi, India. It is his second stop during a three-day visit to the world's largest democracy.

Obama and his wife, Michelle, arrived in the Indian capital on Sunday after spending a day and a half in the financial hub of Mumbai, where he addressed business leaders and met with college students.

Obama will attend a state dinner in New Delhi on Sunday night. On Monday, the president will hold meetings and a joint news conference with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh (MUHN'-moh-hahn sing).

Obama is a on a 10-day visit to Asia designed to boost ties with the economically growing region.
