Nigeria Boko Haram gunmen open fire at college

Boko Haram gunmen on Sunday stormed a college dormitory in Nigeria's conflict-scarred northeast, firing on students as they slept, the military told AFP, in the latest school attack blamed on the Islamist insurgents.

"There was an attack at the College of Agriculture in Gujba this morning by Boko Haram terrorists who went into the school and opened fire on students," while they were asleep, military spokesman in Yobe state Lazarus Eli said,

Casualty figures were not yet available, he added.
