HARARE (AFP) – Eighty-nine year old Robert Mugabe was declared the run-away winner of Zimbabwe's controversial presidential election Saturday, extending his 33-year rule.
Official results announced by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission reported Mugabe garnered 61 percent of the vote again the 34 percent won by challenger Morgan Tsvangirai.
