JOHANNESBURG (AFP) – Nelson Mandela remains in a critical condition in hospital in Pretoria, granddaughter Ndileka Mandela told AFP Tuesday, adding that the anti-apartheid icon was "stable".
"He is stable," Ndileka said by telephone from Qunu, where members of his close family had gathered.
