German Boy Reportedly Steals $21,000 From Parents to Pay Off Bullies

A 10-year-old German boy reportedly stole more than $21,000 from his parents to pay off bullies at his school who were threatening to attack him.

The child took the money after another boy threatened to send his older brother to attack the youngster, The Daily Telegraph reported Monday.

The boy, who lives in Aalen, a town in the southern German state of Baden-Württemberg, reportedly took the money from his parents' home to pay the bullies, ages 11 and 12.

Police have only recovered a fraction of the cash, according to the newspaper. The bulk of the money was reportedly spent on games, clothing and shoes.
