Four Romanian Kids Suffocate in Flour Storage Box

Four Romanian children suffocated after hiding in a wooden case used by their family to store flour, police said Tuesday.

The bodies of the children, aged three to eight, were found by their mother who had gone shopping, leaving them with their deaf-mute father at the village of Gemenea in northeastern Romania.

Police opened an investigation into the deaths.
