Explosion in southern Turkish city wounds at least 5

Turkish media reports say an explosion in front of a government building in the southern city of Adana has injured at least five people.

The private Dogan news agency says the blast occurred Thursday in the car park of the office of the governor for Adana.

One of the injured was in serious condition.

It was not immediately known what caused the blast but Turkey has been rocked by a wave of bomb attacks carried out by Kurdish militants of the Islamic State group.
