DAMASCUS (AFP) – A deadly blast hit the Tadamun neighbourhood of south Damascus on Tuesday, Syrian state television reported, without immediately giving any casualty figures.

"A terrorist explosion... in the Tadamun neighbourhood of Damascus, has caused deaths and injuries," a breaking news alert on the television said.
