SURREY, British Columbia – SURREY, British Columbia (AP) — A Canadian man has been sentenced to 13-1/2 years in prison for sexually abusing three of his daughters and four neighborhood girls.
The 36-year-old man, who can't be named to protect the identity of his victims, pleaded guilty to 11 charges, including incest.
Provincial court in Surrey, British Columbia, was told the man sexually abused his youngest victim, his five-year-old daughter, on a daily basis while his wife was at work. The man said he had been grooming her since she was four by watching child porn with her.
A psychologist testified that the man felt he was not harming his victims because he made the whole thing out to be a game.
