Bus falls off cliff in Albania, may carry students

TIRANA, Albania – Police say a bus believed to be carrying high school students has fallen off a cliff in Albania.

There was no immediate information about how many passengers were on the bus or the extent of casualties.

Spokeswoman Klejda Plangarica says the bus went off the road Monday near the town of Himare, 137 miles (220 kilometers) south of the capital, Tirana.

Police and medical workers were heading to the crash site.
