Bomb Kills 4 Near Pakistani Mosque Hours After Bin Laden Killed
PESHAWAR, Pakistan -- A bomb that exploded near a mosque in northwestern Pakistan killed a woman and three children, police said, just hours after U.S. forces killed Usama bin Laden.
The Pakistani Taliban -- known as Tehreek-e-Taliban -- initially denied bin Laden's death but later threatened to attack Pakistan and the US if the report was true.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack near the mosque Monday, but there were fears of further reprisals following bin Laden's death.
World leaders hailed the news of his death but warned that the fight against terrorism would continue.
