Argentine prosecutor didn't trust security detail, according to man who gave him gun

The man who gave prosecutor Alberto Nisman a gun the day before the prosecutor was found dead says Nisman feared for the safety of his daughters and didn't trust the policemen protecting him.

Diego Lagomarsino said Wednesday that when Nisman asked him for a gun, he asked the prosecutor why he wanted it.

He says the Nisman told him that he didn't trust his security detail.

Nisman was found dead on Jan. 18, hours before he was to appear before congress to detail his allegations that President Cristina Fernandez had conspired to protect some of the Iranian suspects in the 1994 bombing of a Jewish center.
