AMSTERDAM-- Authorities say four men have died after a speedboat collided with a cargo ship on a Dutch river.

Cuijk municipality says in a statement that police found the bodies of three men Tuesday after discovering a body Monday night shortly after the crash on the Maas River.

Three other occupants of the speedboat managed to scramble onto the freighter after the crash near the eastern town.

Police spokeswoman Marion Kruizinga says officers were interviewing witnesses and conducting tests on the wreckage of the speedboat. They could not yet give a cause for the crash.
