British police say three people have been shot dead near a swimming pool in the eastern England town of Spalding.

The suspected attacker is among the dead in the incident, which police say is not thought to be terrorism-related.

Lincolnshire Police say they are not looking for any suspects in connection with the shooting near the Castle sports complex in the town, 90 miles (145 kilometers) north of London.

The force says "three people have been fatally wounded, including the suspected offender."

Britain has tough gun control laws and in recent years has seen a few dozen firearms deaths a year.
