2 more arrested in St. Kitts after tourists robbed
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – Police on the eastern Caribbean island of St. Kitts have charged two more people in the armed robbery of a tour bus filled with cruise ship passengers.
Police released a statement Friday saying that two men, ages 27 and 28, were arrested in Sunday's robbery that prompted two cruise ship companies to cancel port calls to St. Kitts this week.
Three other suspects have already been charged.
Police say the masked gunmen robbed 16 tourists from the liner Celebrity Mercury as the bus headed to Brimstone Hill Fortress. Tourists officials said Friday that tours to the popular park have resumed.
