Residents of a Wyoming city came together Sunday to help a servicewoman whose home was vandalized with anti-military messages.

According to KSL.com., 100 residents of Evanston, as well as military members from other communities, helped erase graffiti at Cassie McEuen's home.

Vandals wrote in black spray paint, "Home of a solider (sic)," across McEuen's window and door.  They also wrote "Die for what?" and other derogatory comments, the website reported.

One of the volunteers, Nick Arnold, told KSL.com that he doesn't know McEuen but wanted to help.

"What I do know is that somebody disgraced soldiers, and it happened right here in our community, and we can do something about it," he said.
