A 21-year-old Virginia Beach man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for producing child pornography.
Michael John Baigert was sentenced in federal court in Norfolk on Monday.
Baigert pleaded guilty in October. According to court records, he traveled from Virginia Beach to York County to visit a girl he met on an online messenger app called KIK. The victim told authorities she had been sexually assaulted. Authorities later found a portion of the sex act was recorded on his iPhone. Numerous homemade videos depicting young females engaged in sexually explicit conduct were found on electronic devices recovered from Baigert's home.
Authorities said there were three other victims age 16 or younger whom Baigert engaged in sexual activity.
