New charges have been filed against a couple accused of leaving a pregnant 17-year-old alone in a Las Vegas-area home with a 3-year-old child who died after they moved to California with their five other children.

Kidnapping and sexual assault are among the 20 charges filed Thursday against Jondrew Lachaux (lah-SHO'). He's accused of fathering the teen's baby, born last November. The counts could get him life in prison if he's convicted.

Lachaux and the teen's mother, Kellie Phillips, also each face felony child abuse, neglect and endangerment charges carrying the possibility of decades behind bars.

The corpse of the couple's 3-year-old daughter was found April 2, a day after the 17-year-old was discovered living on the streets with her severely malnourished 4-month-old daughter.

That child's now in foster care.
