Protests raged for another weekend in Olympia, Wash., with two suspects reportedly being arrested Saturday after a shooting that left one person wounded.
The gunfire occured around 2 p.m. local time near the visitor's center of the Statehouse in Washington's capital city, as counterprotesters pushed Trump supporters back toward their parked vehicles, the Seattle Times reported.
"Pretty much all of the Patriot crowd came up here into the parking lot, they were running into their cars, trying to get out," crowd member Robert Zerfing, 36, told the Times. "That's when I heard the shot."
The medical condition of the victim was not immediately known, according to reports.
Trump supporters and members of the Proud Boys had gathered outside the Statehouse, along with leftist counterprotesters. Police declared a riot early, after at least one street brawl between the groups.
Local reporter Shauna Sowersby said protesters supporting the president threw paintballs and smoke bombs into the street. She identified the gunman as being a Proud Boy.
Also Saturday, Washington State Police reported that an improvised explosive device was found in the area, according to the Times.
"Had the device detonated, it could have caused significant injury," the police wrote on Twitter.
A “RE-Open WA” rally was planned for 11 a.m. and a “Stop the Steal Parade to the Washington State Capitol with Rally” began at noon. A “BLM: Washington vs. Fascism,” counterprotest also was planned for Saturday.

“Makes me feel good seeing all these patriots here ready to fight for our nation,” one speaker said to a group of Trump supporters outside the Statehouse. “Hopefully, it doesn’t come to it. ... Well, I don’t know about that, hopefully it does come to it."
The Olympia Police Department tweeted that the situation was fluid with groups of people moving from the downtown area to the state Capitol building.
Police said roads were blocked, and the area should be avoided.
Trump and his allies have pressed on with legal challenges to the presidential election results, asserting that the vote count was “rigged.”
Last week, pro-Trump protesters and counterprotesters clashed violently in Olympia. The city ramped up its police presence this weekend after details of multiple assaults.
At least one individual fired a gun at last week's protests, too.

Similar protests occurred in nearby states, with an anti-Proud Boy march in Sacramento, Calif., and an anti-conservative rally in St. Paul, Minn., The Blaze reported.
