DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – A member of Gov. Rick Scott's security team confronted a silent protester demanding that Scott take action against the state's so-called stand your ground law.
Ana Lee Case quietly stood near the governor as he spoke at a South Florida charity event Thursday. She held a sign asking the governor to call a special session to reconsider the state's law. Some say it led to George Zimmerman's acquittal in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
After Case showed her sign, a security guard forced her to back up, then stood nose-to-nose with her while asking questions. Case stood quietly through the event, but was flanked by two police officers and told not to move.
After the event, Case yelled "Justice for Trayvon" and was escorted from the building.
