The family of a child with brain cancer is outraged after a thief allegedly stole a camera containing cherished photos of the terminally ill boy, MyFoxOrlando.com reports.

"I don't care one bit about the camera," the boy's mother, Amber Larkin, said in an interview with the station. "I don't want it back. I want the memory cards. If anyone knows anything and can get those cards back to me they would be my hero forever."

Larkin's son, Noah, was reportedly diagnosed with brain cancer in the fall of 2009. He has since undergone several brain surgeries and chemotherapy treatments, she told the station.

The family has also taken several "wish trips" to places Noah wanted to visit -- including a visit to the Pope who gave him a blessing -- Larkin said.

The family says it's hopeful the thief will return the pictures and video on the stolen camera.

Anyone with information on the crime is being urged to call the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
