An 81-year-old San Antonio woman has been arrested on charges that she used her dead sister's identity to vote a second time in the 2008 general election.

An affidavit said Mary Ann Comparin's older sister committed suicide in 1963, but the woman who goes by several aliases allegedly used her photo with the name and driver's license information of her late sister, Norma Gerrish Collins.

Officials told the San Antonio Express-News Comparin was arrested Monday and faces one count of illegal voting.

Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Tela Mange says the agency matched images on the two licenses last year. The Texas Attorney General's Office issued a warrant last week.

Comparin's attorney didn't immediately return phone messages from The Associated Press on Wednesday night.
