SHERIDAN, Wyo. – A 39-year-old North Dakota man has died in an avalanche in northern Wyoming.
The Sheridan County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Levi Robert Hammond, of Dickinson, North Dakota.
Deputy Mike Mullikin of the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office tells The Sheridan Press that the avalanche occurred just after noon Friday while the man was snowmobiling in the Bighorn National Forest.
No other information was immediately available.
