Security guard shoots at Miami commuter train station

MIAMI – Authorities say a security guard shot a man during some kind of confrontation at a Miami Metromover station.

Local media outlets are reporting the incident happened early Thursday morning in downtown Miami, next to the Miami-Dade County School Board building and Fischer Medical Center.

The injured man was taken to a hospital but his condition wasn't available.

The Metromover is an electrically-powered train that runs on a 4.4-mile loop, stopping at various stations in the downtown area.
