Rabbi buys desk off Craigslist for $200, finds $98G stashed inside

A Connecticut rabbi purchased a desk off Craigslist for $200, and found it was worth quite a bit more: there was $98,000 stashed inside the piece of furniture.
Rabbi Noah Muroff, of New Haven, said he and his wife bought the desk for their home, but it would not fit into his office by a “fraction of an inch,” WTNH reports.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}After the couple pulled the desk apart, including the file cabinets that came with it, they found a plastic bag filled with $98,000.
"Right away my wife and I sort of looked at each other and said we can't keep this money,” Muroff said.
Muroff called the original owner of the desk, who told them she stuffed her inheritance in there and forgot where she put it, WTNH reports. The couple has since returned the cash.
