LOS ANGELES – Authorities say a psychiatric patient has shot and wounded an employee at a hospital in Los Angeles County.
Sheriff's Sgt. Jose Ovalle says the man shot a woman in the leg shortly after noon Monday inside a mental health building at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital in unincorporated Willowbrook.
Ovalle says the victim's wound isn't life-threatening.
The gunman was arrested. He wasn't hurt.
