TULSA, Okla. – Prosecutors say an Oklahoma woman charged with slashing the corpse of her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend wore a disguise while improperly visiting the apartment complex where the dead woman's children live.
Prosecutors are seeking to have bond revoked for Shaynna Sims. A hearing is set for Wednesday.
Prosecutors allege Sims violated her bond by leaving Muskogee County. They say she showed up at a Tulsa apartment complex wearing a wig and her GPS ankle monitor. The manager and others noticed the disguise and police were called.
Sims was initially arrested at the dead woman's apartment after attending a funeral home viewing April 30 carrying a knife with the woman's hair on it.
Sims' attorney prosecutors haven't alleged that Sims committed any misconduct at the complex. She's currently undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.
