Police to Interview Michigan School Janitor After 11-Year-Old Impregnated

MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – Police are investigating a 28-year-old school janitor they believe may have impregnated an 11-year-old girl in Mount Clemens, Mich., myFOXdetroit.com reported Friday.

The girl, now 12, gave birth a few weeks ago.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said they were looking to interview the janitor, who worked at the girl's school Prevail Academy, as a potential suspect.

The sheriff said the sex assault did not occur on school grounds.

Prevail Academy released a statement Thursday, saying "this matter is currently under police investigation and we are cooperating with them fully. We are unable to provide any additional information at this time."
