BOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Authorities say a man allegedly stabbed his relative, raped a woman and then drove both victims from Massachusetts to Ohio before being captured after stealing a police car.
Police are not yet naming the suspect who they say stabbed a relative he lived with in Boxborough on Thursday before raping and assaulting a woman who also was in the home. Police say he forced both into a car and drove to Ohio, where he led police on a pursuit.
Police say Pike County Sheriff's deputies in Ohio reportedly had a standoff Sunday morning with the suspect who also stole a deputy's vehicle. He was captured and is currently jailed in Ohio on theft and escape charges.
Police say the stabbing victim is in serious condition. The rape victim's condition wasn't immediately known.
