CEDAR HILLS, Ore. – An Oregon woman was released from the hospital Saturday after she spent four days trapped under a dresser that fell on her.
Virginia Cartier, 67, suffered serious injuries to both of her legs when the dresser fell on her Tuesday at her home in Cedar Hills, Washington County, KATU-TV reported.
Sheriff's deputies went to her house Friday after neighbors reported that they had not seen or heard from her for four days even though her car was in her driveway.
They forced entry and found her trapped under the dresser.
She told police she was moving furniture when it fell on her.
