The parents of a 1-year-old boy in Oregon say he drowned in a washing machine in the few minutes that he left his mother's sight.

Tiffany Hebb says 21-month-old Ollie Hebb used to help her with the laundry by throwing clothes into the top-loading washer. She says Ollie went missing for a few minutes on March 23, and she found him wedged inside the water-filled machine.

A neighbor performed CPR, but the boy died after a day on life support. His organs were donated.

The couple had recently moved from Orem, Utah, to the Portland suburb of Hillsboro. The Deseret News reports Tiffany and Chris Hebb buried Ollie over the weekend in Utah.

Tiffany Hebb says she's warning parents about the drowning dangers of washers.
