More than a dozen theme park-goers were rescued Thursday after getting stuck on a roller coaster in Oklahoma.

Aerial footage showed the riders on the Silver Bullet roller coaster at Frontier City stalled near the top of the ride’s chair lift as firefighters removed them one by one.

Oklahoma City firefighters said no one was injured in the incident. It was not immediately clear why the ride stalled out.

"Guest safety is Frontier City’s top priority," the theme park said in a statement, according to KFOR. "As soon as each guest has been evacuated from the Silver Bullet, a thorough investigation into the reason the ride stalled will take place."

In June 2016, the ride stalled in the same position -- near the top of the chair lift -- forcing firefighters to rescue eight people.

"It’s like being shot from a cannon as you rocket through this high-speed steel looping coaster," read a description of the ride on the theme park's website.
