NYPD: Body Found in Suitcase in Harlem

NEW YORK -- The NYPD says a passer-by rummaging through trash outside a Harlem building discovered the body of a woman stuffed inside a suitcase.

Police responded to the scene in front of 435 E. 114th St. shortly after midnight Wednesday after the passer-by called 911.

Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine the cause of the death.

There have been no arrests.
