A Missouri sheriff has found a missing 2-year-old girl in Iowa with two people in a stopped vehicle.

An Amber Alert was issued earlier Thursday evening in East Lynne, Mo., for Syah Duffy, who was reportedly taken by an unknown white female early in the morning.

Syah’s mother said she mistakenly thought the woman, who is heavy set and 20-to-30 years old, was from the Division of Family Services and allowed her daughter to leave. The suspect was seen leaving the residence in a white van with an unknown Iowa registration.

Syah and the unknown woman were possibly heading to the girl's father’s home in Iowa.
