MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee police say the driver of a car who struck and killed a 2-year-old has been shot to death at the scene of the accident. A teen was also injured in the shooting.
Police Captain Timothy Heier says the car accident occurred at 5:10 p.m. Sunday after the child ran into the street.
Heier said in a statement that the driver, a 41-year-old man, remained at the scene.
The statement says the 41-year-old and a 15-year-old boy were then shot.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 15-year-old was taken a hospital.
Heier says no suspects are in custody.
It was not immediately clear if the 15-year-old was a passenger in the car.
