California Highway Patrol officials say a man in his 20s stripped down to nothing and decided to hang from an interstate sign in San Francisco.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the man climbed atop the sign near an Interstate 80 on-ramp on Tuesday afternoon and then removed his clothes.

Highway patrol spokesman Vu Williams says there were no reports of the incident, but officers happened to be in the area.

Williams says officers talked the man into putting his clothes on and coming down after about 10 minutes.

Williams say the man was not suicidal or under the influence of drugs.
