Emanuel: NATO Summit could help city's economy

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who for months has been talking about the huge economic boost that hosting the NATO Summit can provide for the city, says there are signs it's already happening.

In an interview with The Associated Press on Friday, Emanuel said the president of Latvia just visited his office and that among the things they talked about was "furthering trade and commerce" in the transportation industry.

Emanuel says while he doesn't have any signed contracts, he has a dialogue that could ultimately lead to them. He says the summit could be a boost for the city in terms of both trade and the number of tourists from countries that don't know much about Chicago.
