Correction: Western Wildfires-Tanker Planes story

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – In a June 14 story about U.S. Forest Service plans to modernize the nation's fleet of tanker planes for fighting wildfires, The Associated Press, relying on incorrect information from the Forest Service, erroneously reported the slurry capacity of seven tanker planes to be contracted. The new planes will have a minimum capacity of 3,000 gallons, not 2,400 gallons.
