Police are warning Boston College students that a "serial tickler" is on the loose.
A man has been breaking into the off-campus homes of these students to watch them sleep or tickle their feet, The Boston Globe reported. Police say there have been sightings of the tickler over the last two years, with the most recent break-ins happening on April 7, when three people reported being tickled.
Victims say the man wears dark clothing and jolts out of the room when they wake up, MyFoxBoston.com reported.
"I thought my roommate had fallen down the steps," Teddy Raddell, a junior at the school, told the paper. "But then he started yelling. I got up and he said that he had woken up to someone touching his feet."
Oddly, the tickler didn't take anything from the room, even though there were laptops and wallets out, he said.
Boston police say they are investigating.
"This is no myth," Sgt. Michael O’Hara, community service officer for the Boston Police, told the paper district that covers Allston and Brighton. "It's happening."
