Leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement are continuing to coordinate rallies spotlighting the police killings of black people.

After five Dallas officers were killed, organizers were quick to distance themselves from retaliation against police. But they say they understand the frustration that led to Thursday's shootings.

The Dallas police chief said the sniper told officers he was "upset about Black Lives Matter." Police identified him as Micah Johnson, a 25-year-old Army veteran from suburban Dallas, and haven't indicated whether he had anything to do with Black Lives Matter, or any other group.

The movement hasn't slowed. In Philadelphia, people planned a "Weekend of Rage" over perceived injustice, while in Atlanta, marchers demonstrated peacefully for hours Friday night.
