Anchorage police seek author of note that led to discovery of beaten teen in abandoned house

An anonymous typed note to police led to the discovery of a severely beaten teenager in an abandoned Anchorage house that was set to be demolished.

Police spokeswoman Jennifer Castro says the note may have saved the life of the man, whose identity has not been confirmed.

Police hope whoever typed the note will come forward and reveal more details.

The Anchorage Daily News (http://bit.ly/17MdaEu) reported the note was slipped Monday night under the door of University of Alaska Anchorage police, who summoned city police.

Officers found the 18-year-old man, who was in critical condition.
