A glance at the Penn State child sex abuse trial

KEY DEVELOPMENTS: Three more accusers, Victims No. 5, No. 7 and No. 10, testified that Jerry Sandusky sexually abused them. All three said he reached out to them in friendship and, as time passed, went from casual touching to abuse in the Penn State campus sauna and shower and in his home. Prosecutors played portions of a notorious November interview in which Sandusky told NBC's Bob Costas he's not sexually attracted to young boys and shouldn't have showered with them. The version played in court was audio only.

ODDS AND ENDS: Judge John Cleland predicted the trial would last about three weeks when proceedings began on Monday. He's sticking to the schedule. On Wednesday he advised jurors that prosecutors were presenting their case so quickly that he expects them to wrap up by Friday, the fifth day of testimony. If so, that means lawyer Joe Amendola might start presenting his defense of Sandusky on Monday, only a week after the trial started. There is no court this weekend.

WHAT'S NEXT: Three more accusers, Victims No. 3, No. 6 and No. 9, have not taken the stand, so they may testify in the coming days, along with police investigators who worked the case.
