Four are dead and one hospitalized after flames swept through a South Texas mobile home neighbors say was occupied by a newly arrived family.

The fire happened about 5:30 a.m. Sunday at the Fair Park Estates trailer park just northwest of downtown Harlingen, near the border with Mexico. Neighbors who gathered outside the charred ruins told the Valley Morning Star they knew little about the trailer's newly arrived occupants — not even their names. But the neighbors did say children had lived there.

Authorities have not released the victims' names or a case of the fire.
