Police say a gunman opened fire at a northern Ohio nightclub, killing three men and wounding a fourth.

Authorities say the shooting happened early Sunday at the Last Call Bar in Fremont. No arrest has been made, and detectives are working to identify the gunman.

It wasn't immediately clear what may have prompted the shooting or whether the gunman knew any of the victims.

Police say two of the men died at the club and a third died at a hospital. A fourth was flown to a Toledo hospital, and his condition wasn't immediately known.

Police Chief Tim Wiersma says detectives are investigating leads. He asks that the public come forward with any information.

Fremont is about 35 miles southeast of Toledo.
