The worlds of comic books and cruising are colliding next year.

Disney Cruise Line says it will be bringing some super guests aboard in 2017, with its first ever "Marvel Day at Sea" featuring superheroes and super villains of the Marvel Universe.

The Marvel superhero event will be part of the itineraries for seven voyages on the Disney Magic departing from New York City in late 2017, and will feature characters from Marvel comics, films and animated series.

For one day on each of the seven sailings of the Disney Magic, passengers will be transported to a world of all things Marvel, including interactions with iconic superheroes and villains, a themed deck party, activities for the younger set, special merchandise and unique food and beverage offerings.
