Who ever thought a man and his wheelie suitcase could cause so much outrage?

A video of a South Korean politician and his luggage has gone viral — and for all the wrong reasons.

Kim Moo-sung, the 65-year-old politician, made an entrance to remember at Seoul’s Gimpo International Airport arrivals lounge last week when he nonchalantly pushed his suitcase along the ground to a male assistant who was waiting for him.

His move has been dubbed the “authoritarian no-look pass” by the Internet after the video was posted on YouTube by South Korean news channel YTN News. The name references the basketball move when a player looks in one direction but passes the ball to his teammate in another.

But the internet is not at all happy with the “authoritarian no-look pass”, saying it is a symbol of “male entitlement."

“This shows … the way he treats his subordinates! How does he act in private if he acts like this in an airport? This is the bare face of the Korean elite!” said one comment in Korean on Naver, Korea’s biggest web portal.

The video had received more than 600,000 views on YouTube as of Tuesday.

Over on Reddit, in a discussion where the clip was titled “Korean Politician Swag," the video had gathered over 1700 comments.

“If by ‘swag’ you mean ‘d[-----]’, then absolutely,” one commenter wrote.

“You call this ‘swag,' but rather this is something you would see often by these ‘big shot’ men in Asia,” another angry commenter wrote.

“Trust me, assistants and servants barely dare look at these men of higher status straight in the face they must bow downwards. Very arrogant and cocky, this is nothing knew to me and this definitely has nothing to do with swag.”
