Riders had to be rescued from a roller coaster at Six Flags America in Maryland on Monday afternoon after the ride stalled on the tracks.
Workers at the theme park were able to safely get riders off the Superman: Ride of Steel after the ride stopped near a peak, Prince George’s County fire officials confirmed.
The fire department reportedly received several calls from people at the amusement park, but by the time they arrived the riders had all been helped off the roller coaster. It was not clear how long the riders were stuck before being helped off.
There were no reports of injuries.
