WHITNEY MUSEUM: THE FOOD

It's not unusual to see paintings called "Untitled" hanging in a museum. But that's also going to be the name of a new restaurant — one that could make the museum where it's located a destination for both foodies and art-lovers.

Untitled will be located at the new Whitney Museum of American Art. The museum opens May 1 in Manhattan's Meatpacking District.

Gramercy Tavern's James Beard award-winning chef Michael Anthony will be Untitled's executive chef. Anthony will also serve as executive chef at the museum's Studio Cafe. The museum eateries will be managed by Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group.

The museum is moving from the Upper East Side to Gansevoort Street near the High Line into a building designed by Renzo Piano.

DOWNTON AT BILTMORE HOUSE

There will be something in Asheville, North Carolina, soon for "Downton Abbey" fans. Biltmore House will host a new exhibition, "Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times," Feb. 5-May 25. The show will include more than 40 costumes from the PBS series "Downton Abbey."

Biltmore House was built in the 1890s for the Vanderbilt family. The Downton costumes will be displayed in groupings themed on events from the fictional show, with connections made to real life at the Vanderbilt estate during the same early 20th century era.

An exhibit of costumes from "Downton Abbey" just closed at Winterthur, the former du Pont estate in Delaware, where it broke attendance records.

LAS VEGAS MUSIC FESTIVALS

The lineup for music festivals taking place in Las Vegas in 2015 includes a new one for the city: Brazil's Rock in Rio.

Rock in Rio is scheduled for May 8-9 and May 15-16 with performers like Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Linkin Park and Metallica.

Also on the list of major music festivals scheduled for Las Vegas this year: the Electric Daisy Carnival, June 19-21; and the Route 91 Harvest Festival, a country music event, Oct. 2-4. Wine Amplified, an alternative rock music and wine festival, is scheduled to return in October as well.
